What are the best primary schools in Leicester? A new guide reveals the top 10

A new guide taking into account over 40 different data points has revealed the top 10 primary schools in Leicestershire.
Christ The King Catholic Primary School on Glenfield Road has been revealed as the best state-funded primary school in Leicester, according to a comprehensive new study.
The Real Schools Guide 2018 is based on 44 different data points to list the best primary schools – taking into account factors like pupil progress, pupil-teacher ratios and absence rates as well as Key Stage 2 exam results. The study aims to give parents a more comprehensive picture of a school’s performance than the traditional league tables.
Parents can go to the www.schoolguide.co.uk website to see the full data, compare the different schools, see recent Ofsted reports and find the ‘best’ school in their area.
The guide is now in its fifth year and has been praised by education experts across the country.
This year’s results name Christ The King Catholic Primary School as the best primary school in Leicester, with Northfield House Primary Academy in second and Shenton Primary School in third.
