Krispy Kreme to set up shop in the Highcross next month!

Big news for doughnut lovers in Leicester – Krispy Kreme are finally setting up an outlet in the city.
The American chain will open a shop in the Highcross Shopping Centre on 14 February, which will be located on the ground floor near the Tiger, Harper Lewis and Xplicit stores. There will also be a seating area for customers.
The Highcross general manager, Jo Tallack, said of the Krispy Kreme announcement:
“We are really excited for Krispy Kreme to come to Highcross, it has been a long time coming. We have had heard so much on Facebook and Twitter from students and our customers about why we don’t have a Krispy Kreme store, so we are very excited to finally open the only Krispy Kreme store in Leicestershire.”
Krispy Kreme’s chief marketing officer Judith Denby said of their decision to open in the Highcross:
“We can’t wait to open in Leicester. Highcross is a great location for the store and and we can’t wait for centre visitors to experience the joy of Krispy Kreme when we open next month.”
In the weeks leading up to the stores opening, Krispy Kreme staff will be out in force offering free samples to pedestrians and business throughout the city centre – so we’ll definitely be looking out for that!
